English school and program for foreign nurses

Postby otgoo_mng on Sat May 24, 2008 9:47 pm

Good day all,

I am writing this on behalf of my mother, who is a licensed foreign nurse from Mongolia visiting me in North Dakota during my summer holiday. She has a work experience of over 12 years as a nurse (falls under General Nurse occupation) in Mongolia. While she is visiting me here, she wants to explore any avenue that would give her opportunity to work in the US as a nurse. As upon doing researches about "foreign nurse in the US", she faced some difficulties.
The primary thing was proof English proficiency.
The secondary thing was one of the American nursing tests.
Therefore, I started doing research to find out if there is a way for my mother to find a sponsor that can help her with English language and the test, and hire her as an employee. Or it does not have to be a sponsor. It can be any schools or organizations that provide english language course for foreign nurses and also prepare for them to take the nursing exams.
Thank you all and have a great day, I will be looking forward to your earliest reply.

Sincerely,

Otgoo.A
