Ihave a B1/B2 Visa: What will happen after filing the I-140?

Hello everyone. Does anyone here knows what will happen to my US Visa (B1/B2) once an employer files the I-140 petition for me? How will it affect my current visa which has 10-year validity? Can I still visit the US once it's filed? :D
