Luisette,

Passing on the first try is great! I'm sure that the review course helped. Many International Nurses don't take a review course, which may explain why only about 60% pass on their first attempt.

Almost all graduates of US nursing schools take a prep course just after graduation (and prior to taking the NCLEX). Even though they just spent 2-4 years studying nursing, its hard to remember everything you learned a few months/years ago. A prep course brings it all togehter.

For International Nurses, even those that may have worked 5-10 years and have plenty of practical experience, their knowledge is generally focused in a specific area. A review course covers all areas that will be addressed by the NCLEX. The money spent on a review course is definitely worth it!

I have just been to NCLEX RN battle. It was too hard to gain a successful nclex story because all the questions are very tough... But with the Grace of God, I fought and ended up the battle at question 78. After Three days, i knew, I was victorious. Thanks to all who prayed for me.

Hi All!
I passed it the 1st try too. I thought I didn't make it cuz I was sick on the test day. I was so happy to pass it though.
Now it's the hardest part to find a sponsorship.
